A bathing day, with swimming, sailing or surfing, plus a boat trip: The range of lakes in the near surroundings is large and can be reached by car in just over half an hour’s drive. The Salzburg Lake District region offers four lakes, the Wallersee, Mattsee, Grabensee and Obertrumer See.
The Mondsee, which is already on Upper Austrian territory, can be reached via the motorway in about 25 minutes.
We are also not far from two well-known lakes in the neighboring Bavaria: the Königssee in the Berchtesgaden National Park and the Chiemsee.
