City and skiing

...should not match?

Salzburg proves the opposite, it is rather an optimal starting point to reach several ski resorts. It is 23 km to Bischofswiesen, where with the Götschen a small fine ski resort is waiting for snow fans. The Almenwelt Lofer im Pinzgau (40 km) can be reached quickly and easily via the small German Eck. With 46 kilometers of pistes it is already a larger ski area.

9 ski lifts and 34 km of slopes await the alpine skiers in Gaissau-Hintersee (34 km). Less than an hour's drive away on the Tauernautobahn heading south to the Salzburger Sportwelt Amade - which includes eight holiday and ski resorts, including the Skiweltcuporte Flachau and Altenmarkt-Zauchensee, and the Planai-Hochwurzen ski area in Schladming, in the neighboring Styria.
